These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by The Sourced House LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services or purchasing any item through us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of Our Services
The Sourced House provides a luxury personal shopping and sourcing service. We operate in two ways:
(a) sourcing on request, where items are sourced on behalf of clients through our global network of brands, retailers, and private suppliers; and
(b) curated pieces available for immediate purchase, including items held in hand or pre-secured and shared via our website or social channels.
We do not operate as a traditional retailer. The applicable terms for each transaction will be confirmed at the time of purchase.
2. Brand Affiliation
The Sourced House LTD is an independent luxury sourcing and personal shopping service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official retailer of any brands referenced or sourced. All brand names, trademarks, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes.
3. Authenticity
All items sourced or sold by The Sourced House LTD are obtained through a long-established network of trusted brands, retailers, and private suppliers with whom we work closely. We take every reasonable step to ensure that all items are authentic at the time of sourcing.
Original proof of purchase and accompanying brand documentation can be provided for items sourced, unless otherwise discussed or agreed in advance. Where requested, third-party authentication services (such as Entrupy or similar) can be arranged at the client’s request.
4. Sourcing Requests & Acceptance
Sourcing requests may be submitted via our website, email, or social platforms.
A request is considered accepted once we confirm in writing (including via email, invoice, or social media messaging). The contract between us is formed based on our communications, any invoice issued, and these Terms.
All sourcing requests are subject to availability. While every effort is made to fulfil requests, availability cannot be guaranteed.
5. Pricing & Sourcing Fees
All prices quoted by The Sourced House are final prices.
Where applicable, pricing may include a sourcing fee, which varies depending on factors such as rarity, demand, sourcing location, and supplier pricing. Sourcing fees are non-refundable and are built into the total price quoted. They are not itemised separately on invoices.
Some items may be sourced at a premium price due to limited availability or market demand. Prices may therefore differ from retail pricing.
6. Payment Terms
All purchases require payment in full before an item can be secured.
Invoices are issued for all sales and include bank transfer details. Bank transfer or wire transfer is the preferred payment method.
Card payments may be accepted at our discretion and are subject to a 3.5% processing fee. For first-time clients, valid identification may be required. We reserve the right to decline card payments for high-value transactions.
Failure to make payment promptly may result in the item becoming unavailable and the termination of services.
7. Availability & Quality Checks
All items are sourced from trusted brands, retailers, and suppliers. Availability is time-sensitive and cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received and the item is secured.
Where possible, we carry out quality checks prior to shipment and may retain condition or verification images to confirm the state of an item before dispatch.
8. Final Sale, Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or personal preference.
Due to the nature of global sourcing and the policies of many luxury retailers, refunds are often not available and store credit may be the only option offered by the original supplier.
We make every effort to assist clients in confirming sizing and specifications prior to purchase, including providing measurements where available.
If an item is faulty or not as described, we will work with the brand or supplier to seek an appropriate resolution in line with their policies. Any outcome remains subject to the supplier’s assessment and approval.
Sourcing fees, processing fees, shipping costs, and any related charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.
9. Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide.
International shipments are typically sent via DHL. UK domestic orders are commonly shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, with next-day delivery where applicable.
Items are generally shipped from our location after receipt; however, in some cases items may be shipped directly from a supplier to the client.
Shipping timelines are estimates only. Once an item has been dispatched, responsibility for the item passes to the client. Shipping insurance may be included or discussed on a case-by-case basis.
10. Duties, Taxes & Customs
Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing. These charges are not included in quoted prices unless explicitly stated.
11. Communication & Agreements
Communication may take place via email, invoice, or social platforms. Agreements formed via written communication on these platforms are binding.
Invoices will be issued via email for record-keeping purposes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sourced House LTD shall not be liable for any loss, delay, or issue arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier issues, customs processes, or acts of third parties.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Privacy & Discretion
All client information is handled confidentially and with complete discretion. Personal information is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling services and processing transactions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
